1 FUN Christmas game for a group of ladies

Looking to bring some festive fun to your next womenโ€™s church group gathering? A Christmas-themed Family Feud game is the perfect way to spread holiday cheer while encouraging teamwork and friendly competition. This engaging Christmas game for a group of ladies blends laughter, trivia, and the season’s joy, making it a memorable addition to your event. Whether you’re celebrating during a holiday party or hosting a casual fellowship, this game is easy to set up and guarantees festive fun for all ages. Gather your group, split into teams, and get ready to buzz in with the best Christmas answers!

To host this fun Christmas-themed Family Feud game, youโ€™ll need the following materials:

Question and Answer Cards or List:

  • Write down the survey questions (samples below) and answers in advance (like those provided earlier). Use index cards, printouts, or a tablet for easy access.

Scoreboard:

  • A whiteboard, chalkboard, or a large piece of paper to track team scores. Alternatively, use a digital scoreboard app on a tablet or laptop.

Buzzers or Alternatives:

  • Buzzers if you have them, or use small bells, squeaky toys, or simply have teams clap to signal their turn. They aren’t expensive. I bought mine on Amazon.com. Here are some you can choose from. I am an Amazon affiliate. Let me know in the comments if you’d like me to do a short video demonstrating my buzzer.

Timer:

  • A phone or stopwatch to time each team’s responses during their turns.

Optional Materials for Added Fun!

Prizes:

  • Small, festive prizes such as candy canes, ornaments, devotional books, or gift cards.

Festive Decorations:

  • Christmas-themed tablecloths, lights, or signs to set a holiday mood. Dollar Tree is the place to go for these.

Props:

  • Fun hats, reindeer antlers, or Santa hats for team captains.

Sound Effects:

  • A bell or app for correct answers and a buzzer sound for wrong ones.

Team or Family Badges:

  • Create simple name tags or badges to identify teams (e.g., Team Jingle Bells vs. Team Silent Night).

  • Arrange a space with enough seating for the teams and a central area for the host.
  • Divide the group into two or more teams and provide a festive name for each.
  • Ensure everyone can see the scoreboard and hear the questions clearly.
  • Split the group into two teams.
  • Have a “host” read the questions, and the teams take turns guessing the most popular answers.
  • Each correct answer earns points, with higher-ranked answers earning more points.
  • The team with the most points at the end wins!

I recommend you survey people on Facebook or another social media outlet. Write your questions out and use Google Forms or another method.

This will be easy if you have a Facebook group for your women’s ministry. The only caveat is that people will then have a hint about the questions.

(Note: Assign points to answers based on their ranking, e.g., top answer = 50 points, second = 40 points, etc.)
